Urban Creek Boutique opens in BG

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Urban Creek Boutique, 1204 W. Wooster St., Suite 3, on Tuesday at 4 p.m. It is open to the public.

The ceremony will include congratulatory words from Mayor Mike Aspacher and BG Chamber Executive Director Mary Hinkelman as they welcome new business owner Kaley Rummel.

Rummel is a Bowling Green High School graduate and feels that a western style clothing store is something that the city has been missing. The shop is mainly western style wear, along with jewelry, accessories, body care items and some home items. Urban Creek Boutique offers a little bit of something for everyone and not just a certain age group.

“I love being a small business where people can just walk in,” Rummel said. “We have freshly made coffee every day and some snacks. We also have a sitting section we had made for everyone.”

Community members are invited to join the event in person or via Facebook Live through the Facebook page Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. Those attending in person should register at https://www.bgchamber.net/rsvp/.
