The Wood County Committee on Aging will feature four mystery thriller films for its 1 p.m. Friday “How about a Movie?” matinees in October at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St. All of the movies share the same spooky theme with the word “window” in the titles.

On Friday, “Shadow on the Window,” a 1957 crime thriller features Philip Carey, Betty Garrett, John Drew Barrymore and Jerry Mathers.

On Oct. 21 the motion picture, “The Window,” stars Bobby Driscoll, Barbara Hale and Arthur Kennedy in a 1949 crime/thriller of a boy who cries wolf one too many times.

Oct. 28 ends the month with “The Woman in the Window,” a 1944 crime/thriller, with Edward G. Robinson facing a mid-life crisis experience and featuring Joan Bennett and Raymond Massey.
