Three cheers for the BGHS production of "Mary Poppins." What an amazing show! I had to keep
reminding myself that I was watching a high school version of the famed Broadway musical and not a true
professional production. It was indeed a high honor for BG to be selected as one of four high schools in
the U.S. to be a pilot production. Congratulations to Director Dr. Jo Beth Gonzalez as well as the
music, vocal and technical directors; the costume designers, choreographers, sound engineers, and stage
managers; and to be sure, the entire cast with Abby Paskvan in the role of Mary Poppins. Well done and
you made us all proud.
