Thomas J. "Tom" Sterling

Thomas J. "Tom" Sterling, 45, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away April 4, 2014.
Tom was born in 1968 in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Robert and Barbara (Cupp) Sterling.
Tom is survived by his mother and stepfather Barbara and Herman Kiel of Cygnet; brother, Jeff (Lori)
Sterling of Weston; half brothers, John Sterling of North Baltimore and Kasey Sterling of Cygnet;
stepbrothers, Mike Kiel of Perrysburg and Frank Kiel of Tennessee; nephew, Kyle (Kelly) Sterling and
niece, Sara (Jason) Zimmerman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sterling and nephew, Troy Sterling.
Tom was a graduate of Elmwood High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Business from Owens
Community College and also attended Bowling Green State University, where he played in the Falcon
Marching Band.
Tom was a former purchasing agent for Honda of America in Marysville.
He was a member of Weston Masonic Lodge #560 F&AM.
Tom was very sociable and a loved being around people. He enjoyed music, golfing and always had to have
the most recent technology.
Visitation for Tom will be on Tuesday April 8, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME
& CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, where a Masonic
Service will be at 7:30 p.m.
Tom’s funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Weston Cemetery.
