Falcon hockey receives vote
Bowling Green received one vote in this week’s U.S. College Hockey Online poll announced Monday.
The Falcons, 11-9-4 overall and 8-6-2 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, were not in the poll
last week.
The poll is on page 11.
Bobcat hockey receives votes
Bowling Green remained among the teams receiving votes in the weekly state high school hockey poll
announced Monday.
The Bobcats, 10-5-1 overall and 1-1 in the Northwest Hockey Conference, visit No. St. John’s Friday at 9
p.m. and host St. Francis Sunday at 1:30 p.m. St. Francis also received votes this week.

Rogers earns MAC honor
CLEVELAND – Alexis Rogers of the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team has been named
the Mid-American Conference East player of the week.
Rogers, had a double-double as the Falcons opened the MAC schedule with a 62-50 win over Buffalo last
Saturday. Rogers had a game-high 22 points and a game- and career-high 17 rebounds in the victory,
playing 29 minutes.
Perrysburg-AW boys rescheduled
Tonight’s Perrysburg at Anthony Wayne boys basketball game was postponed because of the weather.
The game was scheduled for Jan. 14.
Southview has volleyball opening
SYLVANIA – Southview High School has an opening for a head volleyball coach.
A letter of interest, references and coaching resume can be sent to Susan Felver at

deadline is Friday.
Potential teaching positions are unknown at this point.
