The following will take place next week at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
Many programs require advance registration, which is indicated by an *. For information call the office

Meals
Lunch is served daily at all county senior centers. No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services
because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants shall determine for themselves
what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested donation is appreciated for lunches.
Next week’s menu features: Monday, bratwurst or grilled chicken sandwich; Tuesday, beef lasagna or
stuffed chicken breast; Wednesday, turkey stew or ham and bean soup; Thursday, chicken paprikash or
meatloaf; Friday, scalloped potatoes and ham or lemon pepper tilapia.
Dinner is served at the Wood County Senior Center Tuesday through Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and reservations
are needed by 2 p.m. Suggested donation is $4. The dinner menu is: Tuesday, chicken Caesar salad;
Wednesday, barbecue pork chop; Thursday, grilled ham and cheese sandwich.

ADVANCE PLANNING
New Adventures Group: Tour the Carruth Studio in Waterville and StoryPoint Senior Living on Aug. 22. The
transportation cost is $2. Meet at the former Elder Beerman parking lot at 10 a.m. Stepping into the
domain of American-made, hand-crafted sculptures and tour the different parts of production. The group
will then stop at newly constructed StoryPoint Senior Living community in Waterville to take a tour.
Lunch will be provided.
