The Wood County Committee on Aging will hold its annual "90’s Plus Spectacular Event" at 3:30
p.m. Monday, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Drive.
The event will celebrate those individuals in Wood County who are age 90 and over.
A dinner party will be held including a slide show, entertainment and recognition of those nonagenarians
from the Wood County Commissioners and other elected officials. Family members and friends will join to
celebrate.
This year, there are 59 participants slated to join the celebration, with the oldest being 99.
Various area businesses have joined with the WCCOA to provide the meal, corsages and awards for the
honored guests.
