Eastwood thumps Woodmore

Eastwood opened Northern Buckeye Conference play with a 42-0 win over Woodmore Friday night. The Eagles
improved to 3-1 overall with the win.
In other games it was: Perrysburg 25, Bowling Green 0; Lake 49, Otsego 7; Fostoria 47, Elmwood 27; Genoa
43, Rossford 22.
Eastwood 42, Woodmore 0
In Elmore, Eastwood jumped out to an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter after two touchdowns from Grant
Geiser.
Eastwood scored 28 additional unanswered points the rest of the way. The Eagles had 47 carries for 395
yards and six touchdowns.
Eastwood’s defense limited the Wildcats to just 166 total yards, including 25 on the ground.
Fostoria 47, Elmwood 27
In Fostoria, Elmwood scored early, but Fostoria answered with three straight touchdowns to go up 20-7
after the first quarter.
Austin Jasso led the Royals (0-4) with 108 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Noah Baker was 11-of-21
for 124 yards and a touchdown through the air.
Genoa 43, Rossford 22
In Genoa, Rossford jumped out to an early 14-3 lead before Genoa scored four consecutive touchdowns.
Rossford quarterback Kyle Sherman was 13-of-25 for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Erik Davis had six
catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. He also threw for a touchdown. Chase Baney had five catches for 97
yards and two scores.

Genoa looked back and went on to win 43-22 for their first in the conference. The scoring was led by
Jake Wojciechowski who compiled 344 yards on 32 carries for four touchdowns. Genoa is 3-1.
