Hello friends. My name is Kim and I am your local Center Director at Sylvan of Bowling Green, Waterville
and Fremont. I truly enjoy having the opportunity to work with families everyday and be a part of their
children’s educational success. Not only do I get to work with families, but I have also gotten to meet
some fantastic community leaders that are also there to support your family and children (Wood County
Educational Service Center, Wood County Chamber of Commerce, Waterville Public Library, and Fremont
Birchard Library just to name a few). During this time it is so important to support one another. After
all, we’re all in this together, right?
I love being a part of this community and enjoying all it has to offer. Not only do we have some great
local eateries (Campus Polleyeyes, Easy Street Café, and Call of the Canyon Café to share a few of my
favorites) and awesome coffee shops (Grounds for Thought and Flatlands Coffee Yum!) but our community
also has a wonderful group of educators working with your kiddos everyday (Bowling Green City School,
Bowling Green Christian Academy, St. Aloysius School, Fremont Public Schools, Elmwood Schools, Eastwood
Schools and so many more!).
In addition to the amazing groups, restaurants, schools, and people in general (shout-out to all of those
essential workers braving this virus everyday!), Sylvan Learning is also a valuable resource in our
community. We provide the extra support your child needs to catch up in school, keep up with the
workload, and/or take advanced courses to prepare for college. If you’re struggling to help your child
now that schools are closed, or if they need a bigger challenge, call me! Our local tutors are working
