Give blood, win TSO tickets
TOLEDO – The American Red Cross and Trans-Siberian Orchestra will offer blood donors the opportunity to
enjoy the upcoming TSO concert for free on Nov. 13.
Those who come to give blood on Monday at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on 3510 Executive Parkway
in Toledo from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. can enter to win one of 50 pairs of tickets to the local TSO concert.

Way Library offers book sale
PERRYSBURG – The Way Public Library Foundation & Friends will host its last used book sale of the
year on Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Thousands of books will be for sale, including a newly added large collection of cookbooks in excellent
condition, new and used adult fiction and nonfiction titles, juvenile hardcover and softcover, and young
adult books. Shop for books in other categories, too, such as diet and nutrition, inspirational,
history, biography, coffee table books, gift books, and much more.
Books are sold by the bag, and bags are provided at the sale. Prices are $15 for a large bag and $5 for a
small bag; items may also be purchased individually.
All proceeds benefit Way Public Library.
Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend and take advantage of WPLFF’s extensive assortment
of bargain-priced books.
Foot problems discussed
Khase Wilkinson, D.P.M., will discuss common foot problems, treatment options, and recommended footwear
in an educational presentation at Way Library on Nov. 10.
Dr. Wilkinson is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the
American College of Foot Surgeons. He has extensive training in rearfoot and ankle reconstruction and is
on staff at the Mercy Podiatry clinic.
The program will be held at 7 p.m. in the Mercy Family Activity Room on the library’s main level.
Free blood pressure screenings will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
