New pastor at Alliance
The Bowling Green Alliance Church welcomed a new pastor to the congregation last Sunday.
Toledo native Arnie Buhler has returned to his home area after having served a church in Wesley, New
York.
Celebrate Christmas in July

Gospel music featured
TIFFIN — There will be gospel music featured at the 2019 Seneca County Fair July 28 from noon-5 p.m. in
the new entertainment building located at 100 Hopewell Ave.
Featured performers include One Voice, the Seekers, Ed Ewing, Chris Baldwin, Leroy Driscoll, 441 Quartet,
Wayne Suter, Bobby Jones Family, HeartSong, New Presence, Cornerstone and Gary Herron.
Jehovah’s Witnesses to convene
TOLEDO — One of the largest global conventions in 2019, spanning six continents and over 200 countries
and presented in over 400 languages, will be held July 26-28, and in Spanish, Aug. 2-4.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are hosting a global series of three-day conventions featuring the theme “Love Never
Fails.”
Jehovah’s Witnesses from Northwest Ohio will be attending these conventions.
“These events will illustrate the positive influence that love can have to bring people together from
diverse backgrounds,” said Daniel A. Brown, a local representative for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The convention will be held at Seagate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Ave.
