Carol Lugabihl, 71, of Weston, Ohio passed away September 30, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in
Perrysburg.
Carol was born on February 26, 1948 to the late Gerald L. and Thelma Louise (Metzger) Kronberg in Toledo,
Ohio. She married Ronald Lugabihl on August 8, 1987 in Weston, Ohio and he survives.
Carol is survived by her husband Ron; daughter Shara (Kirk) Asmus; son Jerry (Chris) Robinson;
grandchildren: Kylie Asmus, Hailey Asmus, Blayne Robinson, Eric (Lisa) & Kyle Leonard;
great-grandchildren Eli, Aria, and Harper.
For Carol, God was the most important part of her life; he was always first in her life above anything
else. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Bowling Green and previously was a member of Grace
Lutheran Church in Weston for many years.
Carol graduated from Otsego High School in 1966. Carol was a hairdresser by trade. She worked with her
mother at Thelma’s Beauty Shop in Weston for many years and after the shop closed, she loved to do hair
for the residents at Bowling Green Manor. Carol also worked as a telephone operator in Bowling Green.

She enjoyed watching the Ohio State football games and cheering on the Detroit Lions. She was known by
all as a caring, giving, helping and passionate person. Carol loved to spend time with her many friends
and school friends going out to dinner and attending reunions.
She loved to cook and bake and she was known for her cutout sugar cookies. Carol enjoyed spending time
with her grandchildren and attending their many high school sporting events. Her family was very
important to her and she was a loving wife and friend to Ron. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 4–8 p.m. in the Hanneman Funeral Home,
20375 E. Taylor Street, Weston, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019
from 9 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S.
College Drive, Bowling Green, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow in Weston Cemetery.
