BOSTON — Carey Price stopped 29 shots to help Montreal beat the Boston Bruins 3-1 in Game 7 on Wednesday
night and put the Canadiens in the Eastern Conference finals.
Montreal will play the New York Rangers for a spot in the Stanley Cup finals.
Dale Weise, Max Pacioretty and Daniel Briere scored for the Canadiens, who advanced to the conference
finals for just the second time since winning the most recent of their NHL-record 24 Stanley Cup titles
in 1993.
Jarome Iginla scored for Boston. Tuukka Rask made 15 saves for the Bruins, who had the NHL’s best record
in the regular season.
