Bittersweet Inc. is enhanced by the active participation of the communities through the hard work of
volunteers.
The company is seeking individuals who want to make a difference and it is are offering an opportunity to
volunteer at its locations, locally in Pemberville and Whitehouse.
It is hoped that interested individuals have a diverse background and skill set, as well as believing and
committing to serving individuals with autism.
Volunteers can help to set up the environment for success, positive self-esteem, inter-dependence, and
learning for individuals with autism. Bittersweet values the skills, abilities, and energy of volunteers
and they play an important role in growing and developing the nurturing and stimulating environment.
Some areas of interest for volunteers include but are not limited to administrative tasks, cleaning,
horticulture, weeding, baking, grounds keeping, ceramics, weaving, and woodshop.
Bittersweet, Inc. has many opportunities for interested individuals who wish to volunteer on a consistent
basis or help with larger farm projects.
