BG urged to attend athletics

To the Editor:
This is a great time to live in Bowling Green! The gardens are still beautiful, the weather is pleasing
and there are many, many things to do. Fall sports are part of the fun and High School football is one
of the best things to do. The excitement begins before the first whistle and carries on beyond the final
play of the game.
The Bobcat Marching Band entertains all with pregame, half-time, and music throughout the game. The
cheerleaders not only lead cheers but do some amazing gymnastic stunts and dancing. And the student
section has no equal. There is food at the concession stands, and spirit wear for sale. You’ll see your
neighbors, your friends and who knows who you’ll meet?
How long has it been since you attended a High School football game? If it’s more than a week, make plans
to attend the next game, whether it is at home or away. The next game is Oct. 10 when we play Northview
at home, which is Homecoming. We look forward to seeing all Alumni on Oct. 10. Come home and cheer on
the Bobcats
Enjoy all the Fall sports. You are invited to join us for Girls’ and Boys’ Golf, Volleyball, Boys’ and
Girls’ Soccer, Cross Country and Girls’ Tennis. The Bowling Green School District Web site has all the
information under the Calendar tab.
Wear red, white or gray and join in the fun. You will be glad you did.
