Quartets from the "Voices of Harmony" chorus, part of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the
Barbershop Harmony Society, are preparing to fill offices, homes, businesses, and restaurants with the
sound of four-part harmony, as they deliver Singing Valentines on Friday, Feb. 14.
Singing Valentines (one song plus a rose and personalized card) will be delivered in person throughout
northwest Ohio, as well as southeast Michigan.
The cost of in-person deliveries is $40. In addition, one song and a personalized message can be
delivered to loved ones live over the phone – for delivery anywhere – for only $10.
Phone valentines are a good way to reach out to loved ones in the military, chorus members point out.
Orders can be placed by calling 888-741-7464 (option 3) or e-mailing [email protected] . For
more information, visit www.thevoicesofharmony.org .
The Voices of Harmony is a Bowling Green-based area a capella men’s chorus. The group holds its
rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7-9:45 p.m. at the Alliance Church, 1161 Napoleon Road, Bowling
Green, Ohio 43402.
The chorus also promotes a ride-share program.
The Barbershop Harmony Society is an international singing organization with over 25,000 members
throughout the United States and Canada.
The Society offers a broad program of music education for men interested in furthering their knowledge
and appreciation of a cappella vocal music. Local chapters such as the Northwest Ohio chapter also
support a number of charitable causes.
