Troopers seize drugs in I-75 stop

Ohio State Troopers seized nearly $12,000 in drugs and cash on Interstate 75 near Perrysburg on Tuesday.

Troopers stopped a 2004 Honda SUV for a speed violation on I-75, near mile post 199, at 1:06 p.m.
Criminal indicators were observed and troopers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the
vehicle.
A probable cause search of the driver revealed a small amount of marijuana in the driver’s pocket. A
probable cause search of the vehicle revealed 362 Oxycontin pills, worth more than $10,000. Troopers
also seized $1,500.00 in cash. The driver, Anthony Hutchins, 40, Columbus, was taken to the Wood County
Justice Center and charged with possession and trafficking, both second-degree felonies.Ohio State
