Falcons soccer wins in OT
Bowling Green State University’s men’s soccer team picked up a 2-1 overtime win over Wright State on
Tuesday night.
Falcons sophomore Jacob Roth scored on a penalty kick in the 100th minute to break a 1-1 tie. It was his
second penalty-kick goal of the game.
Bowling Green is 12-5-1 overall, doubling last season’s wins total.
Walleye beat South Carolina
The Toledo Walleye were a 4-3 winner over South Carolina in a shootout Tuesday night, to improve to 4-2
on the season.
Toledo fell behind 3-1 before Josh Holmstrom and Shane Sims scored late goals in the third period.
Walleye goaltender Jared Coreau stopped all four shots he faced in the shootout.
Owen’s men’s hoops wins
Owens Community College’s men’s basketball team opened its season with a 112-69 win over Ivy Tech
Community College.
The Express had six players score in double figures.
BGHS has pre-sale tickets for football playoff game
Bowling Green High School is selling pre-sale tickets for its home playoff game against Medina Buckeye on
Friday night.
Tickets are $8 each and are being sold at the high school Wednesday-Friday. Tickets are $9 at the gate.

The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Eastwood has pre-sale tickets for football playoff game
Eastwood High School is selling pre-sale tickets for its playoff game at Marion Pleasant on Saturday
night
Tickets are $8 each and will be sold from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and from 7:30 a.m.-1
p.m. on Friday in the high school office.
Checks should be made out to Eastwood High School Athletic Department.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
