Tate named POW again
Bowling Green State University kicker Tyler Tate was named the Mid-Amerian Conference’s special teams
player of the week in the East division for the second time this season.
Tate connected on field goals for 21 and 33 yards and hit five extra points in last Saturday’s 47-42 win
at Massachusetts. He is 8-for-10 on field goals this season.
Narro shoots 71
Bowling Green State University men’s golf Jose Narro shot a one-under par 71in the second round of the
Badger Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin at University Ridge Golf Course.
Narro enters today’s final round in 19th, with a combined 36-hole score of 148, good for four-over par.

The Falcons are 11th as a team with a team score of 614.
Owens women’s soccer wins
Owens Community College’s women’s soccer team was a 5-0 winner over Mercyhurst North East Community
College.
Haley Malaczewski scored three times for the Express, who improved to 6-3-1 overall.
Lake High School graduate Shelby Antonacci had two assists in the win.
Perrysburg and Lake football ranked
Perrysburg’s football team is ranked No. 3 in the latest Division II state poll, while Lake is 11th in
Division IV.
NB man records hole-in-one
Greg Frost, of North Baltimore, recorded a hole-in-one on the eighth hole at Birch Run last Saturday.
Frost, won recently won the club championship at Birch Run, used a 9 iron on the 168-yard par 3.
