Perrysburg girls 10th
COLUMBUS – Perrysburg’s girls moved into 10th place in the latest state media poll.
The Yellow Jackets have 37 points.

BG’s Nocella honored
CLEVELAND – Bowling Green State University’s Alyssa Nocella has been named the Mid-American Conference’s
gymnast of the week.
A sophomore, Nocella had a career-best 39.150 score in the all-around, leading Bowling Green to its
second-highest team score since 2005 in a 194.600-192.525 win over Eastern Michigan Saturday.
Nocella scored at least 9.725 on all four apparatuses, posting a 9.800 on the balance beam and concluding
with a 9.850 on the floor exercise. She also tied her career-best with a 9.775 on vault as the Falcons
recorded the MAC’s highest team score of the weekend.
BGSU track and field ranked
The Bowling Green State University indoor track and field team is ranked No. 15 in the Great Lakes Region
by the United States Track and Field Cross and Country Coaches Association.
NB plans Hall of Fame induction
NORTH BALTIMORE – Leanne Watkins and Bri Rensch will be inducted into the North Baltimore sports Hall of
Fame Feb. 7 before the boys basketball game against Hopewell-Loudon.
Watkins (1994) is going in for basketball and track. Rensch (2007) is going in for softball.
All current members of the North Baltimore High School sports Hall of Fame are invited to attend.
