PINEHURST, N.C. — Bowling Green High School graduate Caroline Powers missed the cut Friday at the U.S.
Women’s Open.
She shot a 9-over-par 81 in the second round to finish with a 17-over 157 total. The cut was at 149.
Powers had a 6-over 41 on the front nine that consisted of four bogeys and one double bogey.
On the back nine, she had a 5-over 40 with three bogeys and a double bogey.
