Police investigate death of four in Defiance

DEFIANCE, Ohio (AP) — The Defiance County Sheriff’s Office
says four people have died in what is being investigated as a triple
murder-suicide.
Authorities in northwest Ohio say the bodies were
discovered Thursday by a family member who was checking on the welfare
of the four in Defiance, about 60 miles southwest of Toledo.
The four
people were last seen Wednesday at about 3 p.m.
Officials have
identified the dead as Robert Garza Sr., his wife, Christine Garza,
daughter, Zoila Garza, and granddaughter Rebecca Garza. No ages were
provided by officials.
Authorities say Robert Garza Sr. is believed to be the perpetrator.
Officials say an investigation is continuing.
