Perrysburg routs Southview, moves to 6-0

Perrysburg’s defense pitched a shutout for the second time this season, leading the third-ranked Yellow
Jackets to a 45-6 win over Southview in a Northern Lakes League matchup Friday night.
Quarterback Gus Dimmerling ran for 85 yards and three touchdowns to help Perrysburg improve to 6-0
overall and 3-0 in the NLL.
Dimmerling also passed for 237 yards and two touchdowns. The defense has now given up just 13 points over
its last three games combined.
“Right now our defense is playing extremely well,” Perrysburg coach Matt Kregel said. “The offensive
numbers are good, but what’s happening is the defense is giving up the ball in rhythm in great field
position.”
