MONCLOVA – A Perrysburg man was injured in a Friday motorcycle crash in Lucas County, northeast of the
village.
The incident is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The patrol reports that at 9 p.m. Michelle Blue, Toledo, was driving a 2000 Chrysler four-door and failed
to yield while attempting to pull out of a private drive onto Maumee Western Reserve Road, west of
Strayer Road.
Blue was struck by a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Daniel Bucher, Perrysburg, traveling
eastbound on Maumee Western Road.  
Blue was not injured as a result of the crash. Bucher sustained serious injuries and was transported to
University of Toledo Medical Center. An update on his condition was not available at press time.
Blue was wearing a seatbelt. Bucher was not wearing a motorcycle helmet.  
Alcohol is not to be considered a factor of the crash.
