Martha M. Leady died Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Syracuse, New York. She was 95.
Martha was born January 28, 1919 in Syracuse, New York to Lorenzo and Josephine Pantoliano.
Martha married Robert D. Leady in 1944 after meeting him in New York City while he was in the Navy. They
were married for 55 years and lived in Bowling Green.
She attended Grace Brethren Church and later Village View Church in Bowling Green and was a devout
Christian and read her Bible daily. After Robert’s death, Martha moved back to Syracuse to live with her
daughter Marie.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Marie Leady Flynn, Syracuse, New York; her son, Robert C. Leady
(Burnice), Waverly, Georgia; one grandson, Kenneth Leady, North Baltimore and two great-granddaughters,
Kaitlyn and Kealeigh Leady, North Baltimore, OH; and one sister, Marion Lykens, Cicero, New York.
Martha’s parents, four sisters and two brothers proceeded her death.
There will be a private family memorial service for Martha Thursday at 10 a.m.
She will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery & Mausoleum in Syracuse, New York.
Memorials can be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice in Bowling Green or to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
