I-75 reduced to one lane
A portion of Interstate 75 at Cygnet Road will be reduced to one lane today.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced the reduction, which will take place from 9 a.m. until 3
p.m. today on southbound I-75, at Cygnet Road. The roadway will be reduced to one lane for pavement
repair.
All work is weather permitting.
e-Bus at BG’s Farmers’ Market
Fifth Third bank’s e-Bus, also known as the "Financial Empowerment Mobile" will be at the
downtown Farmers’ Market Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
The bus will offer a series of services free of charge, including: One-on-one financial counseling, free
credit report and guidance on improving credit scores, help with avoiding foreclosure, health
screenings, the Job Seeker’s Toolkit – an online job search program and utility and disaster assistance
programs.
Visitors also can apply for a job with Fifth Third Bank.
Theft from cars reported Monday in BG
Two thefts from vehicles were reported Monday on Ordway Avenue in Bowling Green.
Police were called to the Pine Apartments in the 100 block of Ordway around 8:15 a.m.
In one incident, the passenger side window of a vehicle was broken before it was entered, and
approximately $5 in loose change was taken. About $200 in damage was done to the vehicle.
In the second incident, the glove compartment of a vehicle was opened, and several compact discs were
taken, valued at $50.
Free legal clinic offered
A free legal clinic will be held at the Bowling Green Alliance Church on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The church is located at 1161 Napoleon Road in Bowling Green.
Anyone with a legal issue may come to speak to an attorney during the event.
