BG civil service board meets Wednesday
The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Personnel Director’s
Office, City Administrative Services Building, 304 N Church St.
The purpose of the meeting is to take all actions necessary to establish eligibility lists, and/or
certify names of candidates deemed eligible for consideration for hire or promotion to classified
positions.
Action will also be taken, as necessary, to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions, and to establish
classified positions.
BG police arrest two for drug trafficking
Bowling Green police arrested two Findlay men early Sunday morning for underage possession of alcohol and
drug trafficking.
Dallas James Thomas, 19, and Elijah Jay Bustamate, 19, were spotted by a police officer on foot patrol in
city parking Lot 1 standing by a vehicle with an open trunk. They were allegedly drinking beers from a
cooler in the trunk.
A search of the vehicle for more beer, police reported, led to the discovery of marijuana packaged for
sale.
Thomas faces charges of underaged under the influence, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia, and Garcia-Bustamate was charged with open container and underaged under the influence.

Both were incarcerated at the Wood County Justice Center.
CPR training in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Fire CPR Training Center will be holding a "Family and Friends" CPR
class at the Way Public Library July 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The class will cover adult hands only CPR with AED and choking, child CPR and choking, and infant CPR and
choking.
This class is free, and is not a class for certification.
