Burglary suspect on the loose
GRAND RAPIDS – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office warned residents to lock vehicles and homes this morning
after the report of a burglary suspect on the loose in the Back Bay Road area of Williamsburg on the
River.
In an alert issued at 7:33 a.m., the sheriff’s office indicated there was a burglary in the Back Bay Road
area. ProMedica helicopter and Washington Township firefighters were aiding in the search.
The suspect, believed to be on foot, is a white male, 5’6", weighting 135 pounds. Additional details
were not immediately available.
BG budget reviewed today
The Finance Committee of Bowling Green City Council will meet today at 4 p.m. in the City Administrative
Services Building, 304 N. Church St., to review the 2015 budget.
Health board meets tonight
The Program Committee of the Wood County Board of Health will meet at 6 p.m. today, followed by the full
board meeting at 7 p.m.
