Forced entry reported at BG business
A break-in was reported at a downtown restaurant Tuesday morning.
Bowling Green Police were called at 10:07 a.m. to A Taste of Amish Deli 133 E. Wooster St, on the report
of the incident.
Police Chief Brad Conner indicated that an employee came to the business and found that a door had been
forced, and the restaurant’s office area was ransacked.
Information on what may have been stolen from the business was not available this morning.
‘World View’ is Kiwanis topic
Dr. Charles Onasch, the director of the Bowling Green State University School of Earth, Environment and
Society, will present a program on the "World View" to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon
on Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Sex offense reported in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – Authorities are looking into a sexual offense reported in the city on Monday.
The incident, termed a gross sexual imposition offense, was reported just before 4:30 p.m. in the 700
block of Commerce Drive.
The matter has been referred to a Perrysburg Police detective.
Appelhans reappointed to board
Governor John R. Kasich has reappointed Kent J. Appelhans of Pemberville to the State Board of Emergency
Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services for a term ending Nov. 12, 2017.
