U.S. 20 closed today
LIME CITY – A portion of U.S. 20 will be closed today for road work.
The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two announced that Route 20 at Lime City Road will be
closed for railroad and pavement repair. The detour will be Oregon Road; Ohio 795; Crossroads Parkway.

All work is weather permitting.
Zoning board meets in BG
The Bowling Green Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Wednesday at the City Administrative Services
Building, 304 N. Church St.
The agenda includes:
• A request by John Zanfardino to appeal the decision of the zoning inspector regarding a structure at
224 S. Summit St.
• A request by Bennett Enterprises LLC for a variance to construct a Big Boy statue at 1006 N. Main St.,
causing the business to have four signs.
• A request by James Smith, doing business as Al Smith Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep Inc., for a variance to allow
seven signs at 1303 N. Main Street.
• A request by Brian Swope for a variance for the construction of an accessory building at 316 Garden
BG’s loan fund committee meeting changed
A meeting of the City of Bowling Green’s Revolving Loan Fund committee originally scheduled for Wednesday
is now scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Bowling Green Economic Development Office.
The office is located at 121 E. Wooster St.
The purpose of the meeting, which is open to the public, is to discuss an application for the Business
Revolving Loan Fund and the discuss matters related to a recent RLF loan application.
Jan Knape is Kiwanis guest
Jan Knape will present the program to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday at Stone Ridge
Golf Club.
Her program is entitled 41 days down under on a Rotary group study exchange team.
Plain Twp. calls emergency mtg.
Plain Township will be having an emergency meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Plain Township Hall.  

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss personnel matters.
