One hurt in BG crash
One person was hurt in a crash Sunday at West Gypsy Lane Road and Anna Lane in Bowling Green.
BG Police report that at 3:29 p.m. Carmen Mata, Bowling Green, was westbound on West Gypsy Lane when
Erica Ries, Bowling Green, who was stopped at the intersection of Anna Lane and Gypsy Lane, failed to
yield the right of way and struck Mata’s vehicle.
Mata was taken to Wood County Hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS with possible injuries.
Ries was cited for right-of-way at a stop sign.
Planning Commission meets in BG
The next meeting of the Bowling Green Planning Commission will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the
Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
Among the agenda items will be a rezoning request from Robert Maurer for approximately 1.89 acres on
North Enterprise Street from R-2, Single-Family Residential and B-2, General Commercial to B-5, Downtown
Transitional Central Business District.
Perrysburg may eliminate traffic signal
PERRYSBURG – Comments are being accepted as city officials look at removing the traffic signal at
Louisiana Avenue and Seventh Street.
Under consideration is placing a stop sign at Seventh Street with Louisiana Avenue having the right of
way.
