Stimmel’s farmers’ market continues to Nov.
Stimmel’s Saturday Market still has fresh, local vegetable and apples; farm raised beef, pork and
chicken; local honey and maple syrup; and local craft items.
It is held at Stimmel’s Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Nov. 22.

Pemberville church serves public dinner
PEMBERVILLE – Pemberville United Methodist Church will hold a public dinner Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30
p.m. at the church, 205 Perry St.
The meal will feature ham loaf or meatloaf, baked potatoes, corn, salad bar, roll, homemade dessert and
beverage.
The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children, and carryouts are available.
Ohio 25 work affects access at intersection
PERRYSBURG – Access to the intersection of Ohio 25 and Eckel Junction Road will be limited in each
direction Sunday as new signals are installed.
One at a time, each road will be closed leading into the intersection. It is strongly recommended that
drivers avoid the intersection beginning at 4 a.m. Sunday until work is complete.
Loaded gun found in BG man’s pocket
Bowling Green police arrested a Bowling Green man overnight for carrying a concealed weapon, OVI refusal
and expired registration.
At 1 a.m. an officer stopped the vehicle driven by Paul Drew Jr., age 40, in the 100 block of Williams
Street. After refusing to be tested for alcohol he was arrested and lodged in the Wood County jail.
A search of the Williams Street resident found a fully loaded .22 caliber weapon in his front pocket. A
warrant was granted to require a blood draw to test for alcohol.
