Power outage unexplained near Bradner
BRADNER – Between 500 and 1,500 customers were reported without power this morning in the area of
Greensburg Pike and Ohio 281 between the village and Wayne.
A dispatcher with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office indicated there were no known traffic crashes or other
issues in the area that might have precipitated the incident, and that Toledo Edison had no information
on how the outage may have started.
The First Energy website indicated the outage was expected to be fixed by 8:30 a.m.
A similar number of customers were reported-ly without power just across the Sandusky County line.
Health board committee meets Tuesday
The Personnel Com-mittee of the Wood County Board of Health will meet at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wood
County Health District boardroom.
I-75 road work updated
Pavement repair work as part of the Interstate 75 widening project will occur between Ohio 582 and Oil
Center Road.
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that the work will be taking place through July in the
overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Restrictions are possible in the area.
Drainage work restricts roadways
Weekdays through Friday, daily from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., shoulder restrictions are possible at the
following locations for drainage work: Northbound Ohio 420, at Ohio 20 to Truman Road; northbound I-280,
between Libbey Road and he Ohio Turnpike; on I-75 at the Ohio Turnpike.
