Library hosts computer skills workshops

Guiding Ohio Online Computer Skills Workshops continue at the Wood County District Public Library this
December. Workshop dates and topics include:
•    Dec. 8: Basic Computer Skills. No prerequisites required for this basic skills workshops.
•     Dec. 10 and Dec. 12: Basic Internet Skills Basic computer and mouse skills are required for these
workshops.
All workshops start at 10 a.m. and are located in the second floor tech lab. Registration is necessary;
those interested may register by call 419-352-5104.
A One-on-One Tech Help session will be offered from 1 to 5 p.m., on Dec. 5.
This one-on-one session is meant for people with any or no technology skills. Examples of the types of
support the session can provide include, but are not limited to: help with laptops, tablets and smart
phones or other devices, formatting resumes, opening email or social network accounts, and more.
Those interested are asked to call the Information Desk at 419-352-5104 for an appointment.
Guiding Ohio Online workshops and one-on-one tech help sessions have been made possible through support
from ServeOhio, Ohio’s commission on service and volunteerism, AmeriCorps, and the State Library These
offerings continue a slate of technology-focused programs that will be available in the coming months at
the library.
