Latta to meet with veterans in Fifth District (5-23-14)

Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) will hold three listening sessions for veterans throughout Ohio’s Fifth
Congressional District on Tuesday, following recent revelations about delays in care at the Department
of Veterans Affairs (VA). These events are an opportunity for Latta to hear veterans’ concerns and
experiences with the VA, as well as any other issues they may be experiencing. Staff will also be
on-site to assist with casework.
"We owe our veterans an enormous debt of gratitude, and we must do everything in our power to ensure
they receive the care they have earned in service to our country," Latta ssaid. "This
situation demands immediate attention, and these listening sessions will provide an opportunity for me
to hear from our veterans about the issues they’re having with the VA, so we can rectify them as quickly
as possible."
Veterans do not need to RSVP, but can contact Latta’s office at (800) 541-6446 for more information.
He will be in Perrysburg Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at American Legion Post #28, 120 W. Indiana Ave.;
