Kathleen Heyman, 91, of Napoleon, OH, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Henry County Hospital.
Kathleen was born in Bucyrus, OH to the late Martin and Verda Heckler.
Kathleen was also preceded in death by her husband: Cleo Heyman; infant daughter: Rebecca Heyman;
siblings: Pharon Heckler, Merideth Booth, Jean Warner, Martin Heckler, and Larry Heckler.
Surviving Kathleen are her children: Gary (Vicki) Heyman and Lynn (Jenni) Heyman; brother: Bill (June)
Heckler; grandchildren: Charissa (Keith) Hines and Kori Ratliff; great grandchildren: Holly (Tony)
Garcia, Madison Hines, Quinton Oberhaus, and Bob Ratliff; stepgreat-grandchild: Zachary (Krista)
Carpenter; brother: Bill (June) Heckler.
Kathleen married Cleo in 1943, she was a member of the United Church of Christ in Holgate and a member of
the Grand Rapids American Legion Auxiliary Drill Team.
Kathleen was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, toll painting, flower arranging and bird watching. A
graveside service will be held at Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapids OH on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11
a.m.
Memorial contributions in Kathleen’s honor may be made to Henry County Meals on Wheels.
