Elmwood to upgrade computer lab, access drive

JERRY CITY – Elmwood Schools will spend nearly $40,000 this summer to upgrade a computer lab and pave the
access drive to the softball field.
The board on Monday approved a $17,220 contract with CDWG to purchase 30 desktop computers for the middle
school computer lab. The new Windows 7 units will replace the XPs now in use.
The board also approved a $21,600 contract with Morlock Asphalt to add a paved lane around the outdoor
athletic field to the softball field, plus add handicap parking at the football stadium.
Also at the meeting, the board:
• Accepted the resignation of Ashley Schmeltz, middle school special needs teacher.
• Gave one-year contracts to Amy Thomas, high school student attendant; Shawna Nye, elementary classroom
aide; and Olivia Oliver and Heather Naftzger, both elementary student attendants.
