ESC to decide on board member
The Wood County Educational Service Center will hold special board meetings Friday and Wednesday.
Friday’s meeting, to be held at 9 a.m., will be entirely in executive session for the purpose of
discussing candidates to fill a board seat left vacant by the death of Tim Meyer.
The Wednesday meeting, at 1:30 p.m., will be held for the possible appointment of a new board member.
That meeting was rescheduled from Aug. 14.
Otsego plans open houses
TONTOGANY – Otsego Schools will hold open houses for all grades on Aug. 18.
The elementary will run from 6 to 7 p.m., while the junior high and high school will be from 7 to 8 p.m.

A Picnic in the Parking Lot will kick off the new school year. Food trucks, including Rosie’s Italian
Grill, Chick-Fil-A, Slammin’ Sammies, and Kona Ice, will be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
A district Back to School Days to have photos taken, pay fees and get schedules, will be held Tuesday
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 7 p.m. in the high school Commons.
