Early-bird reservation for Glass City Marathon, rated one of top 25 fastest courses, ends Dec. 31

TOLEDO — At midnight on Dec. 31, early-bird registration ends for the Glass City Marathon. At the start
of the new year registration prices will increase again and last through March 31.
 As a result of the success of the 2014 Glass City Marathon, the presenting Toledo Roadrunners Club
donated over $120,000 to local charities including: Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism, Habitat for
Humanity, Kid’s Unlimited, Family House, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, Girls on the Run,
Sunshine House, Adopt America and Research Downs Syndrome.
The 2014 marathon included over 7,000 participants, from 43 states, Canada, Kenya and China, as well as
20 Elite runners.
Over 450 children ages 2-12 participated in the Findley Davies Kid’s Marathon.
The Glass City Marathon course is rated as one of the top 25 fastest courses in America and is an
official Boston Marathon qualifier course.
Registration in 2015 is limited to the first 9,000 participants: 2,000 marathon; 3,500 half marathon; 300
teams/1,500 5-person relay; 2,000 5k.
The Half Marathon regularly sells out well in advance of the race.
The main events start and finish at the University of Toledo Glass Bowl, 2801 W. Bancroft St. Toledo, OH
43606, on April 26. The Kid’s Marathon is held on April 25 on the UT campus.
