Graduate students took the next step in their professional careers when they received master’s degrees
during Heidelberg University’s 161st commencement May 10.
Among the local/area students receiving degrees:
Daniel Laughlin, of Perrysburg, Master of Business Administration degree.
Eric Thatcher, of Perrysburg, Master of Arts in Education degree.

Mackenzie Brewer, Risingsun, Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
Felicia Konrad, North Baltimore, Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and History. Magna Cum Laude
with an Honors Program diploma.
Danielle Pike, Bowling Green, Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Magna Cum
Laude Honors Program diploma.
Jennifer Simko, Millbury, Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Magna Cum Laude with an Honors Program
Bluffton University held commencement May 4. Matthew Weisenborn of Bowling Green earned a bachelor’s
degree in history.
Paige DeVriendt of Bowling Green, was among approximately 300 students who received diplomas at Marietta
College’s graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 11.
DeVriendt completed requirements for the bachelor of arts degree with a major in advertising and public
relations and marketing.
Malone University held its commencement exercises on May 3.
Bethany Flage of Wayne earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology.
Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine
After four or more years of intense study and specialized training, 105 medical students of the Wright
State University Boonshoft School of Medicine class of 2014 received their M.D. degrees during the
school’s commencement ceremony May 23.
Lisa.Anacker, Perrysburg, was among the graduates.
She also earned the Department of Psychiatry Outstanding Senior Student Award.
