Two petty thefts were reported at the Student Recreation Center.
A computer crimes incident was reported Sept. 9 at Centennial Hall.
Petty theft was reported at the College Park Office Building.

Drug abuse/marijuana, drug paraphernalia: Seleke Korleh, Akron.
Underage alcohol, disorderly conduct while intoxicated: Adam Wright, Pickerington.
Petty theft was reported Sept. 11 at Kohl Hall.

Sept. 5 citations:
Driving under suspension: Chrisden Carter, BG.
Earphones prohibited while driving: Jordan McKilley, Portage.
Texting while driving, traffic control device: Cory Bower, BG.
Accidents occurred:
Sept. 5
•    A South Main Street and Pearl Street. Joseph Carpenter, BG, was cited for assured clear distance
ahead after a collision with Kayode Olumoyin, BG.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the Wood County District Public Library on North Main Street.
Matthew Hoostal, 39, BG, was arrested at Bowling Green State University on a charge of domestic violence
and taken to jail. The incident reportedly occurred in the 200 block of East Napoleon Road.
Tampering with a cable box was reported in the 800 block of Second Street.
The street sign at the intersection of East Reed Street and North Prospect Street was reportedly ripped
from the pole. It was recovered.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana: Austin Smith, BG.

Underage possession: Nicholas Jaramillo, BG.
Underage under the influence, disorderly conduct/public urination: Brody Nelson, Cincinnati.
Underage under the influence, open container: Ian Baker, Upper Sandusky; Courtney Bricely, Forest; Cody
Collins, Upper Sandusky; Logan Kinley, Carer; Savannah Piecha, Upper Sandusky.
Accidents occurred:
Sept. 6
•    At South Prospect Street and Clough Street. Erika Chambers, 40, Rudolph, was cited for operating
vehicle impaired, prohibited alcohol concentration (BAC 0.319), and reasonable control. Her vehicle had
reportedly run off the road and struck a tree.
•    At East Wooster Street and Crim Street. Matthew Smith, Walbridge, was cited for assured clear
distance ahead after a collision with Lee Miller, Erie, Michigan. Both reported possible injuries but
were not taken to a hospital.
At Clough Street and South Prospect Street, Ryan Miller, 38, BG, was arrested for criminal mischief and
taken to jail.
In the 100 block of North Main Street, Jerry Kenney, 22, Toledo, was arrested for criminal mischief and
disorderly conduct/unable to care for self and taken to jail.
A flower planter in the shape of a pug dog was stolen from the 300 block of Ridge Street.
A hit-and-skip crash was reported in the 200 block of South Maple Street.
A shoplifting incident was reported at Waddington Jewelers in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Disorderly conduct/public urination: Justin Parks, Toledo.
Driving under suspension: Phillip Sheridan, BG.
Driving under suspension (two counts), unauthorized plates, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia:

Open container: Mitchell MacLennan, Delphos.
Traffic control device: Andrew Livingston, Troy.
Underage possession: Alex Myers, Wapakoneta.
Underage possession, open container: Bailey Weiss, BG; Niara Williams, Perrysburg.
Accidents occurred:
Sept. 7
•    At South Prospect Street and East Wooster Street. Sean Zachel, BG, was cited for willful wanton
disregard for public safety after a collision with Elizabeth Johns, Grand Rapids.
•    At East Court Street and North Enterprise Street. Mathew Manley, BG, was cited for improper backing
after a collision with Kelsey Settich, Huber Heights.
In the 200 block of North Main Street, a man reported he was slapped by another male, who left the area
on foot.
Glass on a door was reported broken in the 500 block of East Merry Avenue.
Theft of a parking pass from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Main Street.
In the 200 block of South Church Street, Dylan Hefflinger, 21, Weston, was arrested for criminal
mischief, obstructing official business and criminal trespass, and taken to jail.
Damage to a car’s windshield and body was reported in the 500 block of North Enterprise Street.
A domestic incident was reported in the 1000 block of Clough Street.
Sept. 8 citations:
Driving under suspension: Sheila Amerson, BG; Nicholas Downey, BG.
No motorcycle safety equipment: Taylor Hanes, BG; Cody Wilson, BG.
Accidents occurred:
Sept. 8
•    At West Oak Street and North Main Street. Julianna Ruetz, Woodville, was cited for failure to
maintain reasonable control after striking a parked vehicle.
•    At South Main Street and Byall Avenue. Chelsea Allen, BG, was cited for marked lanes after a
collision with Sandra Rieske, BG.
•    At North Main Street and Parkview Drive. Robert Swank, Grand Rapids, was cited for marked lanes
after a collision with Jason Rhiel, Elmore.
The phone lines of a residence were reportedly cut in the 500 block of West Gypsy Lane Road.
On Sept. 8, a hit-skip crash was reported in the 100 block of East Wooster Street.
After being taken to Wood County Hospital for treatment for a nose injury, John Arnold, 24, BG, was taken
to jail on a charge of disorderly conduct/unable to care for self

•    At 1230 W. Wooster St. Mitchell Gardner, BG, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after a
collision with Peggy Barchus, Fostoria.
•    At South Summit Street and East Napoleon Road. Mackenzie Wolford, Portage, was cited for failure to
maintain reasonable control after a collision with Emily Skrei, BG.
In the 200 block of East Napoleon Road, Dorian Bennett Sr., 24, BG, was arrested for domestic violence
and taken to jail.
A vehicle was extensively keyed at Toledo Molding and Die on East Gypsy Lane Road, causing $1,000 in
damage
Damage to a door at a restroom in City Park was reported. Damages was estimated at approximately $1,000.

Two identity fraud incidents were reported in the city.
