Abiding Word Lutheran Church, 17202 N. Mercer Road, invites the public to a service of ordination and
installation on June 8 at 3 p.m.
Candidate of Theology Paul E. Lange will be installed as the new pastor of the church.
A luncheon will follow the service.
Lange graduated from Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary, Mankato, Minnesota, on May 14. He is moving
to Bowling Green with his wife, Becky. The couple have four children: Matthew, a junior at Bethany
Lutheran College, Mankato; Seth, a junior at Martin Luther College; Hannah, a May graduate of Luther
Preparatory School, Watertown, Wisconsin; and Zachary, a high school sophomore.
Lange attended Lutheran schools from kindergarten through college. He graduated from Dr. Martin Luther
College, New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1988, with a bachelor of science degree. That same year, he married
Becky Zunker.
For 21 years, the husband and wife each served as teachers in three Christian elementary schools in
Wisconsin. He also served as principal at Neillsville, Wisconsin.
From his youth, Lange wanted to become a pastor.
In 2009, he began his pre-seminary education at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, and he entered
the seminary in 2011. He says he is looking forward to beginning his ministry in Bowling Green.
