St. Mark Lutheran golf scrambles
The St. Mark Lutheran Church in Toledo will be hosting its 13th annual golf scrambles on June 1 beginning
at 9 a.m.
The scrambles will be held at Chippewa Golf Course, 23550 Ohio57, Curtice, and will cost $70 per golfer.
The price includes a lunch, cart, desserts and prizes.
The event is sponsored by the High School Youth Group of St. Mark Lutheran. Proceeds from the scrambles
will go toward offsetting expenses for youth mission work in Clendenin, West Virginia, this summer.
Perrysburg youth volleyball camp
Perrysburg High School will be hosting a series of youth volleyball camps this summer.
The camps will be led by PHS head coach Laura Davidson and PHS volleyball players and will run from June
10-12 in the main Perrysburg High School gym.
Any incoming third- through ninth-grader can sign up at $60 per participant. There will be no refunds
once the camp begins.
The focus of the instruction for third- through sixth-graders is designed to teach the basic fundamentals
of volleyball. Seventh- through ninth-graders will learn about defensive and offensive systems and
developing skills in all aspects of the game.
Third- through sixth-graders will participate from 8:30-11:00 a.m. and seventh- through ninth-graders
will go from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Camp T-shirts are being ordered May 27, so participants are encouraged to register early for a guaranteed
T-shirt.
