ROSSFORD — Rossford got off to a quick start and kept the pressure applied in a 14-0 five-inning drubbing
of Cardinal Stritch in Thursday’s nonleague game.
Brooke Beale led the Bulldogs (7-6) with a game-high three hits. Paige Kromenacker had a pair of hits and
knocked in three runs.
Megan Jarozs, who pitched four shutout innings, had two RBIs for Rossford.

HOLLAND — Bowling Green’s boys tennis lineup combined to win five sets on Thursday in falling 5-0 to
Toledo St. John’s in the opening round of the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association tournament.
Mitchell Drumm won four sets for the Bobcats, but dropped his No. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-1. Evan Jiang
and Ty Gulgin nabbed the other set win in a 6-1, 6-0 loss in No. 2 doubles.
Erik Schempf was swept 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles and Jack Devine dropped his No. 3 singles match 6-0,
6-0. Luke Konecny and Hayden McCracken fell 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 doubles.
