A glass marijuana pipe was found behind the toilet in the women’s restroom at the police building. The
pipe was placed into property.
Accidents occurred March 11:
Lawrence Cheek, Columbus, was attempting a left turn from East Wooster Street onto the I-75 northbound
ramp. He made a wide turn and Virginia Webster, Toledo, drove up along side him while making a left turn
as well. The rear tires of Creek’s semi-truck struck the passenger side of Webster, who was cited for
operating a vehicle without reasonable control.

A juvenile was transported from the 1000 block on North Main Street to the juvenile detention center on a
probation violation warrant.

Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia: Shawn Meece, 20
Grant DeWitt, 21, BG, was found passed out on a couch at 8 a.m. in the 800 block of North Enterprise. He
was arrested for criminal trespass and was taken to jail.
Police responded to a suicidal male with a gun in the 1000 block of North Main Street. He was transported
to the hospital for observation.
Accidents occurred March 13:
Cheryl France, Monclova, was illegally parked in the parking lot at 216 S. Mercer Road. Sometime
overnight an unknown driver improperly backed up and struck France’s vehicle then left the scene.
Crystal Rayoum, Weston, was northbound in the 700 block of South Main Street when the right front tire
rod broke and pulled her off the right side of the roadway where she swiped an electric pole.
Lucas Fulton, BG, was southbound on Fairview Avenue, turning left on a green light onto West Poe Road.
Aria Morgan, Liberty Center, was westbound on Poe and failed to stop for the red light at the
intersection and struck Fulton. Morgan was cited for signal lights/red light violation.
Cody Henning, BG, was westbound on East Gypsy Lane Road at County Home Road. Brenda Ellerbrock, Maumee,
was northbound at the intersection and attempted to turn left onto Gypsy Lane. Ellerbrock failed to
clear the right of way and struck Henning, who was well into the intersection. Ellerbrock was cited for
right of way.
Jeremy Bravo, 30, BG, was arrested for right of way at a stop sign, hit skip, OVI, PAC (BAC 0.191) and
possession of drug paraphernalia after striking Abigail Robenolt, Oberlin, at the intersection of
Napoleon Road and South College Drive and leaving the scene.

Armando Ortega, 27, BG, was arrested for assault after a fight at Campus Quarters. He was taken to jail.

Raymond San Miguel, 31, address unknown, was arrested in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue for disorderly
conduct with persistence. He was taken to jail.
Police responded to the hospital on a report of a sexual assault. The case was referred to detectives.

Police responded to a vehicle parked in the Woodland Mall parking lot and cited Danielle Gaeta, 20, and
Tristan Buck, 18, for disorderly conduct/physically offensive condition.
Accidents occurred March 14:
Christol Kratzer, BG, was eastbound on West Newton Road and admitted not paying attention while digging
through the backseat of the van. She drove off the south side of the road and struck a mailbox and then
overhead light pole. Kratzer was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.
Brandon Smarszca, Custar, was southbound in the 400 block of Campbell Hill Road when he was distracted
trying to pick something up off the floor. He ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree, and was
cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.
Aspen Bettenson, BG, was westbound on East Wooster Street near University Lane. Amanda Pike, BG, was
slowing to stop for a pedestrian within a crosswalk, when struck by Bettenson, who was cited for assured
clear distance ahead.
Anthony Matthews, Genoa, was southbound on South Summit at Lehman Avenue. Judy Hartz, BG, was westbound
on Lehman. Matthews failed to yield the right of way and entered the intersection, colliding with Hartz.
Matthews was cited for failure to yield right of way.
Citations March 15:
Speed: Mathew Swortchek, 36; Connie Mehring, 71
Expired registration: Lois Showman, 73
Disorderly conduct while intoxicated: James Haerens, 26
Charges were filed against Barry Wyatt, 41, North Baltimore, for assault. He was arrested April 1 and
taken to jail.
Dustin Willmarth, 27, BG, was arrested for domestic violence and criminal damaging, and was taken to
jail.
Two mailboxes were reported missing in the 200 block of State Street.
Police responded to Taco Bell on South Main Street on the report of an impaired driver in the drive-thru.
Alicia Walter, 23, was cited for OVI, PAC (BAC 0.170), driving under suspension (two counts), open
container in the motor vehicle and endangering children.
Accidents occurred March 15:
An unknown driver was eastbound on East Wooster in the right turn lane onto southbound I-75. The driver
failed to turn and continued straight, causing him/her to strike Monica Thompson, Weston, who was
eastbound in the straight-only lane. The unknown driver left the scene without exchanging information.

Holly Foster, BG, was eastbound on West Poe Road, stopped at Haskins Road. Susan Wagner, BG, was
following and struck Foster. Wagner was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Carolyn Schabow, BG, was westbound on Van Camp Road crossing North Main Street on a green light. Craig
Yarger, BG, was southbound on Main and ran the red light, striking Schabow. Yarger was cited for failure
to maintain right of way.
Bill Ryan, BG, was northbound on South Church approaching West Washington. Asha Coleman, Columbus, was
eastbound on Washington, stopped for the sign then proceeded into the intersection and was struck by
Ryan. Coleman was cited for failure to maintain right of way and driving under suspension.
A vehicle owned by Ean Holdings, Tulsa, Oklahoma, was parked in front of 251 S. Main St. when she was
struck by an unknown vehicle, breaking off the side mirror.
