Bowling Green State University’s Kaila Butler notched the top collegiate hammer throw at the Texas Relays
on Thursday.
The redshirt sophomore tossed a new personal best of 213-feet moving her into fourth all-time in
Mid-American Conferene history. Butler now trails only three-time first-team All-American Brooke Pleger
(BGSU), national champion Stevi Large (Akron) and All-American Brittany Funk (Akron) for career marks in
the MAC.
