Square dance in Rossford
ROSSFORD — The Second Saturday Square and Contra Dance is at Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie
Hwy.
Dance from 7:30-10:30 p.m., with instruction starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for
students age 12 through graduate school.
Partners are not necessary, and beginners and families are welcome. All types of dances are taught.
The Golden Griffon Stringtet will perform. The caller will be Marlon Whitaker.

‘Call the Midwife’ with WGTE
PERRYSBURG — Come to Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave., on Monday at 7 p.m. for a presentation by
WGTE’s Cathy Kamenca on the PBS series “Call the Midwife.” The group will talk about favorite moments,
the cast of characters, and what’s coming up in season eight.

Dance to Bulgarian music
Special guest ensemble Bulgarika will give a free performance on Monday in the Bowen-Thompson Student
Union, Lenhart Grand Ballroom B, from 7-9 p.m.
Bulgarika is a group of four master musicians with decades of performing experience.
The band maintains extensive contact with other Balkan natives, from the Black Sea to the Adriatic.
See ‘A Star is Born’ at Way
PERRYSBURG — Way Library’s contemporary film series, Show Me the Movie, continues on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
with the critically acclaimed 2018 drama “A Star is Born.” Bradley Cooper stars as Jackson Maine, a
seasoned musician who discovers and falls for struggling artist Ally, played by Lady Gaga.
This fourth remake of the original 1937 film follows Ally, a young singer who has given up on her dream
of becoming a successful singer until she meets Jack, a hard-drinking musician who immediately sees her
natural talent. (Adults only/Rated R/2h 15min)
