Bowling Green State University will hold Camp Hatch It, a one-week summer opportunity for entrepreneurs
who will be high school juniors or seniors this fall, June 16-20.
Following in the path of the Hatch, campers will spend a week working individually and in teams to plan,
develop and showcase their very own unique ideas in the camp’s closing program.
On the final day of camp, campers will present their ideas and parents and guests will vote. In addition
to Hatch It events, campers will experience life on BGSU’s campus residing in one of the residence halls
and engaging in activities with current BGSU student counselors.
Activities include working in teams to develop, plan and pitch an idea, exploring the campus and what it
has to offer, networking and meeting other student entrepreneurs, faculty and staff.
Students will pitch their ideas on the final day in front of parents, guests, BGSU faculty, staff and
local business partners. The winning team or top three individuals will receive a $1,000 scholarship to
the College of Business
Camp cost is $615 and includes, lodging, meals, transportation and all camp materials including a take
home book bag, water bottle and jump drive (need-based camperships possible).
The first phase of selections will be completed by March 15, with final selections on April 15.
