All day, everyday kindergarten is offered in Bowling Green Schools, and the district is registering for
the fall start of school.
If your child will be 5 years of age on or before Aug. 1, make plans to register your child for
kindergarten on one of the following days: March 25 from 9 a.m.-4:45 p.m. and March 26 from 8:15
a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at 540 West Poe Road.
Call for an appointment at 419-352-3576, ext. 4021 and plan to bring the child because he/she will go
through a short screening (approx. 15 minutes) at that time.
The following documentation is required for the appointment along with the registration forms. The
registration forms may completed before your appointment and brought to your child(ren)’s screening.

Required forms include child’s birth certificate, child’s updated immunization records, child’s Social
Security card, custody documents/foster care documents/grandparent affidavit/guardianship (paperwork
must be “File” stamped and signed by judge or magistrate unless both parents are listed on the birth
certificate and reside in the same household or is not applicable), proof of residence (ex: current
utility bill, lease/mortgage, etc.), parent/guardian photo ID (driver’s license, student ID, etc.)
If you are a resident of another school district, your child must register with that school district.
This applies even if you have child(ren) already attending through the interdistrict open-enrollment
process at BGCS.
