Padley performs at Owens CC pops concert

PERRYSBURG — Mark Padley will be the featured performer at the Owens Community College Concert Band
spring Pops Concert on March 10.
Padley will be playing the trumpet, performing “The Man with the Horn” arranged by Sammy Nestico. Padley,
of Martin, has been performing both professionally and privately for over 35 years. He has performed in
Europe, and toured the Midwest.
Most recently, he performed with the Toledo Symphony Pro-Am, and regularly performs in area musicals. He
has also performed with the Patriots Symphonic Band and in addition to the Owens Concert Band, is a
member of the Polish American Concert Band.
The Owens Concert Band Pops Concert will also feature Ben Hur, Civil War Reflections, Soly Sombra, and
Broadway Center Stage.
Fairest of the Fair and Flying Cadets Marches will showcase the band’s Pops Concert, to be performed at
the Center for the Performing Arts at 2:30 p.m. on March 10.

The concert is free and open to the public.
